At least one airlifted after vehicle struck by train in Mooresville Posted: Updated: At least one person was airlifted to the hospital after a vehicle was struck by a train in Mooresville Tuesday evening. From WBTV's Sky 3, the wrecked vehicle, a light-colored sedan, was resting across the train tracks at the time of the rescue. Multiple fire and medical units were on location assisting those involved in the accident. Officials have not said what may have led to the collision, or if any other injuries were reported. The accident happened on Highway 801 at Wiggins Road at approximately 6:30 p.m.
