The Franklin County Sheriff's Office is investigating a two-vehicle crash involving a semi on the city's west side Wednesday morning.

Deputies responded to Hague Avenue at Fisher Road in Franklin Township at about 8:27 a.m. Wednesday on a report of a crash.

According to the report from the sheriff's office, Caitlin M. Blake, 23, of Columbus, was driving a Hyundai Accent southbound on Hague Avenue. At the same time, a semi, driven by James Hurlbert, 52, of Monroe, Wisconsin, traveling northbound on Hague Avenue was attempting to turn westbound onto Fisher Road, striking the driver's side of Blake's vehicle.

Blake was seriously injured in the crash, according to the sheriff's office.
