A Gracemont man was a pedestrian on State Highway 9 when he was hit by a car and killed Monday night in Kiowa County. Erwin Pewo Jr., 21, was killed in the eastbound lanes of SH 9 around 8:45 p.m. Monday east of Mountain View, Oklahoma. Pewo was hit by a vehicle driven by Yvette Zotigh, 45, of Carnegie. Pewo was pronounced deceased at the crash scene from multiple injuries.
