Four die from injuries in Oklahoma traffic accidents

Rebecca Ford 52, of Oklahoma City, was driving about 8:50 a.m. Wednesday westbound on State Highway 3 in Coal County.

Rebecca Ford was driving about 8:50 a.m. Wednesday westbound on State Highway 3 in Coal County. A semitrailer driven by Perell Monday, 56, of Enid, went left of center and hit a pickup and horse trailer driven by Logan Reed, 64, of Coalgate, troopers said.

The semitrailer hit Ford's car on the westbound shoulder in an attempt to avoid the accident. Ford was pinned in the car for about 45 minutes and was taken to a hospital, where she died, troopers said.

Monday and Reed were not injured. Reed and Ford wore seat belts, while Monday did not, troopers said.
