Andrew Thomas was a passenger in a pickup driven south on SH 18 by Gary Thomas, 52, of Barnsdall, when a tractor-trailer driven north by Alan Young, 62, of Ruidoso, New Mexico, made a left turn toward a convenience store, the patrol reports. The pickup driven by Gary Thomas hit the tractor-trailer passenger side.
