Bristow man, woman die in crash on U.S. 75

Leon Pinson and Ada Pinson were pinned for about 30 minutes while Okmulgee fire crews tried to extract them from the vehicle. A Bristow man and woman died Friday evening in a multi-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 75 at Preston in Okmulgee County, officials said. Friday, Leon Pinson, 74, and Ada Pinson, 68, attempted to make a left turn on U.S. 75 when Leon Pinson failed to yield from a stop sign, according to an accident report. John Medical Center in Tulsa, where she was pronounced dead a short time after. Leon Pinson was pronounced dead at the scene from multiple injuries.
