Four people were injured in a three-vehicle traffic crash south of Molalla Wednesday morning, police said.

About 11:15 a.m., Daren Baker, 53, of Oregon City was driving a Chevy pickup down South Dryland Road when he failed to stop at the Highway 213 intersection. Baker rammed into the side of Bethany Lael, 59, of Rochester who was driving a Dodge truck north along Highway 213, said the Oregon State Police. Lael’s truck spun around and crossed the highway careening into a Ford van on the opposite side of the road. Lael’s truck then rolled 25 feet into a field before coming to rest upside down, according to police. Baker's spun around both Baker and his passenger, Rick Sekene, 35, of Molalla were ejected from the vehicle. According to Hastings, Sekene was taken by ambulance to Oregon Health & Science University with serious injuries and Baker was treated on the scene for minor injuries. Lael and her passenger were taken to Silverton Hospital and treated for minor injuries. The driver of the Ford van was not harmed, Hastings said. Baker was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device and failure to use a seat belt.
