Milton-Freewater teen killed in car crash
A 14-year-old Milton-Freewater boy was killed Thursday in a car crash that injured five people on Interstate 84 near Ladd Canyon.

Tom Schroeder, 54, of Milton-Freewater was driving east through Ladd Canyon when, around 7 p.m., he lost control and rolled into the center median. He was pulling a trailer that hauls ATVs and such.

Oregon teenager killed in I-84 crash
Lt. Josh Brooks says Fisher Schroeder of Milton-Freewater died at the scene Thursday night after being ejected from the vehicle.
14 year old Fisher Schroeder was sitting in the center seat of a 2000 Ford Excursion driven by Todd Schroeder when it lost control and rolled over into the center median, ejecting Fisher from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead on site. The driver and two juvenile passengers sustained minor injuries while passenger Jerry Schroeder was transported to Legacy Emanuel Hospital in Portland for treatment to more serious injuries.
