Off-duty officer responsible for series of crashes in Lancaster County, police say

Troopers said Hosking, of Lancaster, drove a pickup truck into the driveway of a home in the 4100 block of Jasmine Place and hit a mailbox and a cable box. Hosking fled when a neighbor came out to investigate the noise, state police said. Hosking then turned onto Magnolia Drive and struck a PT Cruiser that was trying to enter a driveway, troopers said. Hosking also fled this second scene and hit several mailboxes while making a turn, according to state police.
