Fatal crash reported in Hershey
Crews are at the scene of a fatal crash in Hershey. The crash happened very close to HersheyPark. The eastbound lanes of Hersheypark Drive at Hotel Road are closed.
Police investigating fatal accident on Hersheypark Drive in Derry Township
The accident, involving a motorcycle and a truck occurred just before 6:30 a.m., in the area of the employee entrance to Hersheypark, according to radio dispatches.
The eastbound lanes of Hersheypark Drive between Hotel Road to Sandbeach Road are closed, according to Derry Township police.
Motorcyclist dead after crash in Hershey
Police say shortly before 6:30 a.m. a motorcycle traveling eastbound hit a pick up truck making a lefthand turn into the hersheypark employee entrance.
The motorcyclist, a man in his 40's, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police ID motorcyclist killed in Hershey crash
Police have identified a motorcyclist who died in a crash last week near Hersheypark.
According to police, the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. It's believed that he was not wearing a helmet.
Investigators are asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash to call Derry Township police at 717-534-2202.
