Car, Tow Truck Collide After Driver Heads Wrong Way On I-79
Police say Benjamin Sieminski was headed south on the northbound side of I-79. While driving in the wrong direction, Sieminski then collided with tow truck driver George Dowdy.
2 hurt in wrong-way crash on Interstate 79
The tow truck driver told investigators he tried to steer out of the way, but couldn’t avoid the impact, police said.
Two people injured when a Honda driving the wrong way on Interstate 79, in Robinson Township, PA, crashed head on into a tow truck. Both drivers were injured and transported to Allegheny General Hospital.
