A driver died after their SUV struck a tree in Edgefield County, the South Carolina Highway Patrol reported Tuesday. The crash occurred at 10:55 p.m. Friday, Dec. 15, on Woodlawn Road, which is near Clarks Hill and about 12 miles west of North Augusta.
