According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, a person died in a motorcycle accident on Sunday May 17, 2015.

EMS confirms that Deanna Strawhorn-Yount, 43, was the woman killed in the motorcycle accident Sunday afternoon. She died after being thrown from her bike after hitting a guard rail on Highway 28.

Highway Patrol stated she ran off the highway, struck a guardrail and was thrown from the motorcycle.
A motorcyclist identified only as a white 43-year-old woman was traveling on South Carolina Highway 28 when she lost control of her vehicle, left the roadway, struck a guardrail, and was ejected. She was pronounced dead at the scene. More details will be posted as they are released.
