Man killed early Saturday when vehicle strikes trees on Clements Ferry Road

A 23-year-old Charleston man was killed early Saturday in a single-vehicle collision on Clements Ferry Road.

A 23-year-old Charleston man died early Saturday morning in Berkeley County after his sedan ran off of Clements Ferry Road and struck several trees.

One person dead after crash in Berkeley County

On February 14, 2015 at 2:30 a.m. a sedan was traveling on Clements Ferry Road in Berkeley County when it ran off the left side of the roadway and struck several trees. 
A 23-year-old man is dead and a 28-year-old driver is injured after the car they were travelling in ran off the road, struck several trees, and overturned. The accident occured on Clements Ferry Road at approximately  2:30 AM. The driver, who was wearing a seatbelt, was sent to an area hospital. The passenger, William James Detyens III, who was not wearing a seat belt, had to be extricated from the vehicle, and was later pronounced dead. The investigation into the accident continues, and we will have more details as they become available.
