Driver dies in fiery York County, SC crash near NC line, troopers say
The wreck happened around 1:45 p.m. on a road between the York County town of Clover and Lake Wylie, southwest of Charlotte, according to the S.C. Highway Patrol. The area is just south of the North Carolina state line. A 1989 pickup truck went off the road and flipped before catching fire, said highway patrol Master Trooper Brian Lee.
