One person was killed in an accident on a busy Rock Hill road Monday.

The wreck happened before 5 p.m. on Celanese Road. Officials confirmed that one person was killed in the collision.

Celanese Road was closed in both directions while crews worked the scene.

A Rock Hill woman is dead after a crash Thursday afternoon on Interstate 77 near Highway 160.

South Carolina Highway Patrol says 38 year old Lawanda Pressley's SUV ran off the interstate and hit a tree.

There's no word yet what caused the crash. Troopers are still investigating.
