One person was killed Sunday in an early morning crash on a section of Interstate 26 in the Midlands, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol. The collision happened in an eastbound lane of I-26 near the 135 mile marker, said Master Trooper Brandon Bolt.
Troopers: Pedestrian killed during I-26 collision
The South Carolina Highway Patrol said the collision happened near the 135-mile marker, 2 miles East of Calhoun. A Ford van and a pedestrian were both traveling East on the highway when the van hit the pedestrian on the road.
