One dead, two injured after head-on car accident involving a moped on Smyrna Rd. near Elgin, SC

1 killed, 2 injured in Kershaw County crash

The passenger of the moped died and the driver was taken to the hospital, troopers say. The driver of the pickup truck was also taken to the hospital. Their conditions are not known.

Troopers: Charges Pending in Kershaw County Fatal Crash

Troopers say charges are pending.
One person is dead and two others injured in a crash Friday in Kershaw County. Troopers responded to an accident involving a moped near Elgin on Smyrna Road around 10:15 p.m. The driver of a pickup truck crossed the center line of Smyrna Road and crashed into a moped head-on.The passenger of the moped died and the driver was sent to the hospital. The driver of the pickup truck was also sent to the hospital. Their conditions are not known.

I did find out yesterday the man driving the pickup truck was intoxicated, and is in the hospital with a broken back. When y'all find out what the woman's name is please email me @ diggst48@yahoo.com.
