Upstate firefighter killed, another injured in crash while responding to call, officials say
According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, a firetruck was traveling east on Willard Road and a 2006 Lexus was traveling north on Springdale Road. Troopers say both vehicles collided at the intersection. Troopers said the driver of the Lexus was taken to a hospital.
