Woman charged with DUI in wreck that killed unborn baby

Ashley Michelle Bridges is charged with two counts of DUI with great bodily injury and one count of DUI causing a fatality. Family members said the victims, a woman, who was 23 weeks' pregnant and her boyfriend, survived the crash on Sulphur Springs Road, but their baby did not. A family member said Bridges' car ran into the couple's car and forced it into oncoming traffic, but the Highway Patrol has not yet confirmed that information. Bridges is being held in the Greenville County Detention Center with bond set at $65,000.
