Driver dies after crash at Myrtle Beach Speedway
The driver, Jackie Ward, 56, of Surfside Beach, was taken to Grand Strand Regional Medical Center. Officials with the coroner's office say Ward died at the hospital less than an hour later and that his death was not due to the collision.
