Driver who died in wrong-way crash near Highway 9 in Horry County identified
The driver who died was traveling in a 2017 Toyota Sedan north in the southbound lane of Carolina Bays Parkway when it collided with a 2021 Hyundai Sedan traveling south on Carolina Bays Parkway. The two people in the second vehicle also were transported to the hospital.
