UPDATE: 2 confirmed dead in fatal wreck in Marion County

Officials say the crash happened just before 4 o'clock early Sunday morning.

The trooper said seat belts would not have made a difference.

Brenda S. White, 33 and Jeremy L. Braden, 28, were killed in single car accident on Hwy 108 near Bear Pen Road in Marion County, TN. The car went through a left-hand roadside fence, struck a tree and continued rolling into a field where it caught fire. Both White and Braden were ejected from the car, but the car was too burned to tell whether seatbelts were worn.
