Man in his 30s killed in head-on crash with MTA bus on Charlotte Avenue in Memphis, Tennessee

The driver of a passenger vehicle crossed over into the westbound lanes of Charlotte Avenue near Jo Johnston Avenue and crashed head-on into an MTA bus. Witnesses say that the driver did not appear to hit the brakes at all before colliding with the bus. The driver, believed to be a man in his 30s, was brought to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. The five bus passengers and driver were not seriously injured.
