Tooele police spokeswoman Tanya Turnbow said Veronica Pedersen , 25, was crossing the street when she was hit by a northbound pickup truck at 862 N. Main Street, about 5:15 a.m. The woman was flown by medical helicopter to University Hospital in Salt Lake City, where she later died.
At about 5:15 a.m., a 25-year-old woman that was crossing North Main Street was struck by a pickup truck. She was airlifted to the hospital in critical condition. No other information is currently available; check back for updates.
