16-year-old passenger died, four others are injured after a driver struck a pedestrian and a utility pole on Harwood Street in Richmond, Virginia

The pedestrian, an unidentified man, had life-threatening injuries as a result of the crash. Additionally, the four people riding in the SUV, including a 16-year-old passenger, also had life-threatening injuries. All were taken to a local hospital for treatment.
