Crash on Kopachuck Drive kills Gig Harbor teen
A 16-year-old Gig Harbor driver died Friday night in a single-car crash in the 10300 block of Kopachuck Drive Northwest.
A preliminary investigation by the Pierce County Sheriff's Office found that Karl Severson was heading south and failed to negotiate a curve to the left, causing his car to veer off the right side of the road and slam into a tree. Severson, 16, was the only occupant of the vehicle.
