Man hit by car in West Seattle dies from injuries

Traffic collision detectives responded to the scene and are investigating the incident. The female driver of the van is cooperating with police, say officers.

Pedestrian killed in West Seattle crash

Seattle Fire Department medics took the pedestrian, who showed no pulse, to Harborview Medical Center for treatment of life-threatening injuries.

Just after 4:00pm, a 52-year-old man that was crossing SW Brandon Street was struck by a van and critically injured. He was taken to Harborview Medical Center, where he eventually succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
