Union Gap-area man killed in crash with utility truck
Yakima County sheriff’s deputies were called to the 13000 block of Ahtanum Road, west of Wiley City, around 12:05 p.m. for a two-vehicle crash. Deputies found a 2005 Honda Civic on the north side of the road with “catastrophic” damage to the front and driver’s side, according to a sheriff’s news release.

According to the Yakima County Sheriff’s Office, the crash involved a 2005 Honda Civic and a Power Technology Incorporated truck. The crash started a small fire but YCSO said fire crews put it out quickly.
