Maier Alvarez Noggerath, 31, injured after SR 240 collision involving three vehicles in Richland, WA

Noggerath was driving east on SR 240 on Saturday afternoon when he stopped behind a pickup truck that had stopped for cross-traffic, and a third eastbound car driven by Darren Edelen, 47, failed to slow down in time and crashed into both of the stationary vehicles. The collision injured Noggerath and we was taken to the hospital, though his condition is currently unknown. Edelen is thought to be at fault in the accident as he was driving at too high of a speed for the conditions according to authorities.
