Three Sun Prairie high school hockey players hurt in 'serious' car accident

Three Sun Prairie high school students and boys' hockey teammates were hurt in a 'serious' crash Friday night, according to a release. A post on the Sun Prairie high school boys hockey team's official twitter account claims one of the victims suffered a broken collarbone and sternum, as well as a punctured lung. A classmate from Sun Prairie High School is attempting to raise money through a GoFundMe page for the families of the victims to help pay for medical costs. The adult driver of the other car escaped the incident uninjured, according to the release. Officials said the boys were attempting to pass another vehicle at a high speed on the left side of the road when the two vehicles collided, causing their SUV to roll over several times near the corner of Wilburn Road and Corporate Center Drive.
