Mail, packages destroyed in tractor trailer fire on I-94 near Hudson, Wisconsin

UPDATE: Mail destroyed in truck fire may have come from western Wisconsin

The U.S. Postal Service confirmed the truck was carrying USPS mail and packages. The truck was taking them from the Twin Cities distribution center to Chicago. USPS said the load consisted mainly of Priority Mail packages originating in Minnesota and western Wisconsin. It may have also contained some First-Class mail.
