Around 2 p.m., a 65-year-old man from Cooper Township was driving northbound on N. Riverview Drive when he lost control of his car and crossed over into southbound lanes, then left the roadway and struck a tree. He was pronounced dead at he scene. Steven Thiher was driving an SUV on Highway 218 when his vehicle entered the median, crossed the Northbound lanes, and went into a farm field on the side of the highway. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment. His condition has not been released.

At around 9:00am, an 80-year-old man was driving a car with three other passengers southbound on I-5 when he lost control of the vehicle and it departed the roadway and rolled over. All four occupants of the vehicle were removed from the vehicle and taken to the hospital, though all injuries appeared to minor. We will update this accident as more information is released.
