A pre-dawn police pursuit in west Phoenix ended dramatically when an allegedly impaired driver crashed an SUV into a residential property near 59th Avenue and McDowell Road on Friday at approximately 2:15 AM. Phoenix Police officers initially attempted to stop the vehicle for speeding in the vicinity. The driver refused to comply and fled, quickly moving out of officers' visual range. Moments later, the suspect lost control of the SUV, colliding with multiple parked vehicles before impacting a house in the residential neighborhood.
