Four people were hurt, one critically, in a wrong-way crash on Interstate 75. Cincinnati police said Andrea Collett, 48, was driving north in the southbound lanes near Second Street at about 10: 15 p.m. Thursday when her sport utility vehicle hit a southbound car. Collett suffered critical injuries and was taken to UC Medical Center for treatment. Her current condition has not been released. Three people in the other car were injured, one seriously. The crash remains under investigation.

A car driving the wrong direction on a southern Howard County road resulted in a crash that killed one and badly injured two others early Saturday morning, police said. A woman in an Acura was driving westbound in the eastbound lanes of MD 32 at around 4:15 a.m. when she struck a tow truck head-on, Howard County police said. The crash took place near the intersection of Dorsey Run Road in the Annapolis Junction area.

Two people were killed in a head-on, wrong-way crash in Henry County during a chase that started in Rockingham County early Friday morning. The crash happened in the northbound lanes near Morehead Avenue in Ridgeway, WSLS reported. The names of neither driver have been released. According to a statement from the Rockingham County Sheriff's Office, a deputy began chasing a black Ford F-150 pickup truck that was driving erratically on Martinsville Loop Road in Stoneville. It got onto Hwy. 220 and started going northbound in the southbound lanes, deputies said.

An investigation was under Friday into a head-on crash in rural East San Diego County that killed a suspected drunken driver and left a 48-year-old Humbolt woman hospitalized with life-threatening injuries. The crash occurred on Church Road, south of Old Highway 80, late Thursday afternoon, according to a California Highway Patrol Office.

A late-night crash caused by a wrong-way driver killed one person on Monday night. Police said the driver was traveling westbound in the eastbound lanes of Eagle Way Bypass and hit two other cars head-on. The passenger in the wrong-way car died at the scene, and three others were taken to the hospital. Police have not identified any of the victims. At this time, police are not sure why the driver was driving in the wrong lane.

A man was killed in a wrong-say crash Tuesday morning when he collided with a semi, police said. San Antonio police first received a call about a black Mazda headed south in the northbound lanes of U.S. 281 near St. Mary's Street. A few minutes later, a call for a wrong-way crash came in at 2:33 a.m. in the northbound lanes of Interstate 35 South at the Cesar Chavez Boulevard exit, police said. The driver of a black Mazda 3 was going south in the northbound lanes and collided with a semi.

A driver traveled the wrong way for 2.3 miles on Interstate 794 over the Hoan Bridge early Saturday until he crashed into a three-foot median wall just north of Carferry Drive, the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office said Saturday. Deputies said that after Edward Deshazer of Cudahy drove a 2007 white Ford Expedition onto I-794 at Lincoln Memorial Drive multiple squads responded to a call that came in about 2 a.m. from a construction worker. Deshazer was cited for driving while intoxicated, a first offense, and recklessly endangering safety, which carries a penalty of up to 10 years in prison.

A wrong-way crash on State Road 528 has lanes closed and traffic backed up for five miles in Brevard County. The crash was reported on westbound SR 528 at mile marker 36 just after 10:30 a.m. Thursday. The Florida Highway Patrol said a vehicle, driven by an elderly woman, was traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes, sideswiped one car and and then turned around to travel westbound to the Narcossee Road exit. The car the woman crashed into hit another vehicle, which ignited. The driver of that vehicle suffered minor injuries.

A habitual drunken driver who killed another motorist while driving the wrong way on U.S. 281 was sentenced by a jury Thursday morning to life in prison. It took jurors in the 227th state District Court less than an hour to decide the punishment for Frances Rosalez Ford, 40, who began her trial earlier this week by pleading guilty to murder. Prosecutors opted to charge her with murder rather than intoxication manslaughter because she caused a death during the commission of a felony — her third DWI.

Northbound Interstate 25 reopened in Santa Fe early Thursday following a three-vehicle collision that officials said was caused when a vehicle went the wrong way. According to officials, the accident occurred Wednesday evening near St. Francis Road.
