A man who crashed his car into a house Thursday evening is accused of driving the wrong way down another street minutes earlier — all while being “extremely impaired.” Burlington police were searching for the 1994 Honda Accord driven by Mario O’Keith Strayhorn, 22, of Roslyn Drive, after it struck another car while going the wrong way down Fisher Street.

A wrong-way driver is being blamed for a crash in downtown Honolulu. The accident happened just before 3:45 a.m. Thursday near the intersection of South King and Bethel Streets. Honolulu police say the pickup truck was going Ewa-bound on South King when it crashed into a sedan driving in the right direction into town. The impact sent the sedan crashing into a pillar. No serious injuries were reported. The driver of the truck was arrested at the scene.

A drunk, wrong-way driver did not stop until she caused a head-on collision Thursday morning. The accident occurred at the Downtown Connector ramp to I-20. The driver of the car, Monica Arrington, 38, went to Grady Memorial Hospital for treatment of her injuries. Arrington was charged with DUI, reckless driving and driving on the wrong side of the road.

A driver who was allegedly drunk and driving the wrong way on Interstate 355 injured multiple people in a crash Monday night. About 8 p.m., the driver was heading south on northbound I-355 lanes near 143rd Street near southwest suburban Lockport when the vehicle struck another head on, Illinois State said. The driver of the second vehicle was taken to a hospital for a broken leg, Pilgrim said. There were also an unspecified number of children in that vehicle with minor injuries, police said.

A passenger was killed Saturday night in a wrong way crash of I-480 westbound on Cleveland’s west side. The fatal accident happened around 11:30 p.m. on I-480 WB near W. 130th Street in Cleveland. Officers said the investigation reveals that 40-year-old Julio Cesar Vargas drove his vehicle the wrong way on the I-480 WB exit ramp. Police said Vargas entered the exit ramp and crashed into another vehicle, injuring two people. Desiree Snyder, 22, of Cleveland was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center where she was treated, expired, and pronounced dead Sunday.

Two drivers died when a 91-year-old man driving the wrong way on Interstate 75 near the Florida-Georgia border late Friday night stuck an SUV and a Greyhound bus. Troopers said a 91-year-old driver was diving south in the northbound lanes when they ran head-on into the bus and a Ford Expedition at mile marker 449, about 10 miles south of Jasper in Hamilton County. The car's driver, Ernest Lee Holmes, 91, from High Springs, Florida was killed in the accident, according to the FHP report. Peter Linek, 55, of Ormond Beach, who was driving the SUV also died.

A Hoover woman was killed early Friday when she was driving the wrong way on Interstate 20/59 near McCalla. The Jefferson County Coroner's Office identified the victim as Celyce Olivia Thompson, 24. She was pronounced dead on the scene. The crash happened at 1:29 a.m. near Rock Mountain Lakes. Authorities said Thompson was driving her PT Cruiser northbound in the interstate's southbound lanes.

The Anderson Police Department is investigating a deadly crash that occurred late Thursday night. According to a release from the Anderson Police Department, the crash occurred in the 1400 block of Main Street just before 11:30 p.m. Police officials say the driver of the 2011 Chevy Cruz was traveling at a high rate of speed the wrong way on Main Street prior to crashing the car into a rail road crossing arm.

A 22-year-old is dead and a male suspect was critically injured after a chase led to a wrong-way, head-on crash on Interstate 40 in Greensboro Thursday night. Reagan Hartley and the suspect, Ronnie Fichera, 46, were injured around 10:20 p.m. just west of the Patterson Street exit. Hartley died on the way to the hospital, and Fichera was taken to a hospital for treatment of critical injuries, Greensboro police said. The crash happened after Fichera's Ford Expedition exited I-40 west at High Point Road, went around Four Seasons Mall and entered I-40 east going westbound, police said.

Alcohol appears to have played a role in a fatal wrong-way two-car accident that occurred early Thursday on Interstate 5 near Medford. Oregon State Police is asking witnesses to come forward in connection with the crash, which took place around 3:15 a.m. in the southbound lanes of I-5 about five miles south of Medford. OSP, Jackson County Sheriff's Office, local fire and medical personnel, and ODOT were dispatched to milepost 24, said Lieutenant Gregg Hastings, an OSP spokesman.
