A woman was arrested for DUII after she pulled a U-turn and crashed into cops early Saturday morning, police said. Around 3:20 a.m., 25-year-old Aphinity Marday Jumping Bull was driving west on North Lombard Street near Commercial Avenue with officers right behind her, said a Sgt. with Portland police. Jumping Bull pulled a U-turn in her 2004 Chevy Impala and slammed into the police car. She then drove off but only made it to North Kerby Avenue before her car broke down, Simpson said.

The Florida Highway Patrol has arrested a Zephyr Hills man and three of his family members in connection with a head-on hit-and-run crash that sent a Pasco County Sheriff's Office deputy to the hospital. Deputy Darren Hill, 29, of Wesley Chapel was seriously injured when his cruiser was hit by a F-150 Ford truck in Wesley Chapel area early Wednesday morning, according to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office.

A driver is behind bars and a pedestrian is in critical condition after a hit-and-run crash in Lauderdale Lakes Sunday morning. According to the Broward Sheriff's Office, the 28-year-old man was walking in the area of West Oakland Park Boulevard and State Road 7 around 1:30 a.m. when he was struck by a car that fled the scene. The man, whose name is being withheld pending notification of family, was rushed to Broward Health Medical Center in critical condition, the BSO said.

A man is in critical condition at University Hospital after an alleged hit-and-run wreck Monday night on the Northwest Side. William Collier, 55, was crossing the street before 8:30 p.m. in the 9000 block of Wurzbach Road, outside of a crosswalk, when he was hit by a Kia Sol that fled the scene without helping, according to San Antonio Police Department spokeswoman Romana Lopez. Collier was hospitalized with a head injury, according to Lopez.
