Tampa-St. Petersburg, FLJohn Walter Rouzer, 62, was driving to the north on East Lake Road at approximately 3:00 a.m. when he began to veer off the right side of the roadway. He the overcorrected to the left and entered the median, where it rolled onto its side. As he was not wearing a seat belt, Rouzer was partially ejected from his car, which caught fire after crashing. Rouzer was found dead at the scene

Tampa-St. Petersburg, FLIt was approximately 4:10 a.m. when a 17-year-old girl who was driving south on U.S. 19 somehow lost control of her vehicle, and it began to roll. The girl, who was not wearing a seat belt, was thrown from the vehicle, which came to rest at the intersection with Frontage Road. She was taken to the hospital with injuries described as "major".

Tampa-St. Petersburg, FL43-year-old Edwin Brantley was allegedly speeding while heading west on Gulfport Boulevard at about 12:53 p.m., when he departed the roadway during a curve and struck a concrete pillar before going through a fence and hitting a tree. The car then overturned and burst into flames, and Brantley was ejected. He was pronounced dead after being brought to a hospital.

Tampa-St. Petersburg, FLA passenger died after a car overturned on 71st Street near 50th Avenue N Wednesday morning.
A Florida Highway Patrol spokesman said Fielden B. Odell, 31 of Largo was driving a Dodge Ram truck south on 71st Street N and approaching 50th Avenue N about 7:40 a.m. Wednesday.
Odell tried to pass another vehicle heading in the same direction, and hit the shoulder of the road. He overcorrected, travelled back across the street and rotated clockwise, according to the F.H.P. The truck then hit a culvert, flew into the air, turned over and hit a utility pole.
