Thursday, March 26, 2015An 70-year-old man crashed into a 7-Eleven convenience store on Hillside Boulevard at around 8:40 a.m. in Daly City. The man is believed to have suffered a medical condition before the crash. No one inside the store was hurt. The man was taken to the hospital after the incident for treatment.

Monday, March 23, 2015A woman was hospitalized after being struck by a sheriff's vehicle Monday morning in San Bruno, California. The accident occurred at the intersection of San Mateo Avenue and San Bruno Avenue. Witnesses state that a young woman walked out of a mini-mart at the intersection and began crossing the street when she was struck by a San Mateo County Sheriff's vehicle. The woman was later taken to the hospital, however her condition is unknown. We will have more details on this story as new information becomes available.

Monday, March 23, 2015John Preyer, 61, from Manteca, died in a crash between a GMC truck and a Nissan Altima on Highway 1 near Green Oaks Way at approximately 5:40 p.m. Monday. Two other people were injured and were taken to Stanford Hospital. Their current conditions have not been reported.

Sunday, March 22, 2015Crews on Highway 92 are working to clean a fuel spil that occured after a collision involving three vehicles. Authorities responded to an accident where five gallons of fuel have spilled and the condition of the drivers are not known at this time. We will update this story as more information becomes available.

Saturday, January 10, 2015 Max Heffernan, 15, of Burlingame, was killed Saturday morning when he was hit by a Caltrain in Millbrae at about 9:10 a.m. Saturday. The Caltrain carried hundreds of passengers when the collision occurred. For more than an hour, trains were not permitted to operate near the scene of the crash.The cause of Heffernan's death will be determined by the coroner. It is not yet known why Heffernan was on the tracks.

Wednesday, January 7, 2015Police and firefighters are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Pacifica on Skyline Boulevard that was discovered by an officer who came upon the vehicle as it was in flames, at the same time a call came into dispatch about the accident. The Mercedes Benz apparently crashed into a pole early Wednesday morning near King Drive and was badly charred. Anyone with information about the crash is encouraged to call Pacifica police at (650) 738-7314. No further details are available; check back for updates.

Thursday, December 4, 2014Police are looking for the hit-and-run driver who hit and killed a 78-year-old male pedestrian in Daly City Thursday night.The pickup truck driver hit Jose Euan Rosel of Daly City, on State Highway 35 near Westridge Avenue around 11:30 p.m.The driver left the scene after hitting Rosel and remains at large. Rosel died from his injuries. A witness described the truck as a full-size American-made pickup truck, possibly a Ford or Chevrolet, with a ladder rack.

Friday, September 26, 2014One of the passengers in the van, Anna Stivala, died at the scene, while the driver, Joseph Stivala, was transported to hospital but died shortly thereafter. Five people on the bus were taken to the hospital, though all had injuries which were considered non-life threatening.

Sunday, September 21, 2014A 19-year-old woman who died early Sunday morning in a crash on Highway 1 near Half Moon Bay has been identified as Hayward resident Karina Benavides. Benavides was driving a 1991 Honda Accord north on the highway, just south of Tunitas Creek Road around 5 a.m. when the car left the road. The Honda then hit a traffic sign, rolled several times, and the impact of the crash ejected the driver, who died at the scene.

Sunday, September 14, 2014An 11-year-old San Francisco girl died and four other people were hurt about 12:55 a.m Sunday when their SUV veered off I-280 in Burlingame and went down an embankment. They were traveling north on Interstate 280 in a 2004 Chevrolet Suburban south of Trousdale Avenue. Driver Mandingo Cummings suffered major injuries and was taken to San Francisco General Hospital. Three other passengers, Tierra Cummings, 31; Lashawena Collins, 20, and a 7-month-old girl all suffered minor injuries and were taken to the hospital as a precaution.
