Farley was driving on Stoney Run Road at about 1:00pm when she failed to properly negotiate a right-hand turn in the road, and departed the roadway into a field before finally crashing into a concrete bridge. All four occupants of the vehicle were taken to the hospital, though Romel was pronounced dead later that evening. Farley and Jarvis remain in the hospital, in critical and serious condition respectively. Michael Romel, 18 was also hospitalized but has already been treated and released.

A man was flown to the hospital after the Ford F-250 he was driving somehow crashed into a tree along Route 20 near the top of Gum Mountain just before 7 p.m. Monday. The man was talking to authorities before being flown to Ruby Memorial Hospital. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

Jeremy Davidson, 20, of Sago had to be airlifted to Ruby Memorial Hospital after being ejected 73 feet from his truck after the truck's back wheel came apart from the axel and shot his truck sidewasy, flipping it twice before the cab split from the frame. The accident happened on Brushy Fork Road in Upshur County, West Virginia.
