Single-Vehicle Crash in Upshur County Sends One Via HealthNet

A single-vehicle crash on Route 20 South Road in Upshur County sent two people to the hospital Tuesday afternoon. The accident occurred at approximately 1 p.m. in the Adrian community of Upshur County, near the Alton Evergreen Road. One passenger was taken to an area hospital by Upshur County EMS, while another was flown by Healthnet, responders said. Firefighters from the Banks District and the Adrian Community Volunteer Fire Departments responded to the scene. No additional information is being released at this time, according to the Banks District VFD. The accident will be investigated by the West Virginia State Police.
