Kenneth Romel, 39, killed and Derek Jarvis, 41 and Rebecca Farley, 41, hospitalized after car strikes concrete bridge on Stoney Run Road in Upshur County, WV

Farley was driving on Stoney Run Road at about 1:00pm when she failed to properly negotiate a right-hand turn in the road, and departed the roadway into a field before finally crashing into a concrete bridge. All four occupants of the vehicle were taken to the hospital, though Romel was pronounced dead later that evening. Farley and Jarvis remain in the hospital, in critical and serious condition respectively. Michael Romel, 18 was also hospitalized but has already been treated and released.
