52-year-old Ernest Miller has died from injuries after a crash that happened Sunday around 1 a.m. at North Edgewood Avenue and Ina Street. Another motorcyclist, riding with two other motorcycles, was traveling northbound in the left lane and hit Miller, who was in the roadway. The second motorcycle went down, but after it stopped, the driver fled without checking on Miller, who was transported to UF medical center in critical condition, where he died. Miller was wearing a novelty helmet, which was not DOT compliant.

38 year-old Keven Kinipp was hospitalized in critical condition early Sunday after losing control of his motorcycle. The accident took place around 12:20 a.m. on Dewey Lake Street near Decatur Road in Volinia Township, south of Decatur. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident. Gilbert R. Aguirre, 56, of Stansbury Park was killed Saturday after his motorcycle collided into the back of a car in Magna.  About 6:40 p.m. , the car and the motorcyclist were moving west on Utah State Route 201. The car began slowing down, and the motorcycle crashed into the back near 9200 West. Emergency responders pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene. He was not wearing a helmet. No one in the car was hurt. The crash remains under investigation.

An Avant man, James Hendrix, 56, was critically injured when his motorcycle collided with a deer in Osage County on Tuesday, September 30, and he died of his injuries on Wednesday, October 1.

A teenage girl was killed Monday in an ATV accident in southern Indiana. Sixteen-year-old Bailey Carty of Paoli was pronounced dead after she was found underneath an overturned ATV which she had been riding in the 2700 block of E. CR 100 North around 5 p.m.  Medics performed CPR at the scene, but were unable to resuscitate the girl.

Bradley Irish was riding a snowmobile on grass when it overturned and injured him. He was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. Accident still under investigation.

The ATV, being driven by Angela Russell, 33, of Chouteau, went off the road. The child, whose name was not released, was taken to a nearby hospital where she died.

The motorcyclist and the driver of the car were both taken to Upstate University Hospital, though the motorcyclist was in critical condition while the car driver only sustained non-life threatening injuries.

The OHP report states a 2002 Honda TRX 500 driven by James Votaw, 18, of Inola was eastbound when he lost control on a curve, went off the road throwing both him and his passenger, a 16-year-old girl off the ATV. The OHP report said Votaw was driving at an unsafe speed at the time of the crash.  Troopers said neither Votaw or the teen were wearing helmets at the time of the crash.
