52-year-old Ernest Miller has died from injuries after a crash that happened Sunday around 1 a.m. at North Edgewood Avenue and Ina Street. Another motorcyclist, riding with two other motorcycles, was traveling northbound in the left lane and hit Miller, who was in the roadway. The second motorcycle went down, but after it stopped, the driver fled without checking on Miller, who was transported to UF medical center in critical condition, where he died. Miller was wearing a novelty helmet, which was not DOT compliant.
