One woman was killed and two men injured after a vehicle made an unsafe lane change, colliding with a Lincoln LS that then lost control early Saturday morning on Interstate 45 near The Woodlands. The Lincoln then collided with a barrier before coming to a rest westbound across the middle two lanes of traffic and then was struck by two other vehicles. Habib Almishkhas, 51, was the driver of the Lincoln. His passenger, Sawsan Almilad, 46, was pronounced deceased at the crash site. The driver of the Buick was treated and released.

A serious crash occurred during a sleet and snowstorm Wednesday, on the I-30 Bridge in Rockwall, Texas. 58-year-old Terry Caveat’s pickup truck was struck by another car. Cavett exited his pickup to check on the condition of the other driver. Another vehicle was out of control and moving toward Cavett, so he jumped onto the edge of the bridge and fell about 20 feet. Neither vehicle stayed at the scene of the crash. Terry Cavett was moved from the ICU at Baylor Hospital in Dallas and is recovering from serious injuries.

It was in the evening when Johnson was taking one of his usual walks along Geiger Boulevard, but due to the very windy conditions that night he decided he would turn back early. That's when everything went black for Johnson, who can't remember anything after that moment and was found with several fractures and injuries on the side of the road, and had actually hypothermia, which his daughter says ironically could have saved his life, as the cold temperatures slowed the bleeding.

Gurnee police are asking for the public's help finding a vehicle that is thought to have hit and killed a man and injured his dog in the Lake County suburb early this morning. The victim, identified as Timothy Fleming, 31, was found about 3:45 a.m. near the southbound entrance ramp to Skokie Highway/U.S. Route 41 from Washington Street in Gurnee after someone called police to say a man was down in that area, police said. Officers who arrived on-scene found Fleming lying unresponsive, next to an injured dog, police said in a news release. Paramedics found no signs of life.

Mackenzie O'Brien and Justine Phillipson got off a bus in Bellingham, Washington and were crossing Otis Street when a car with no headlights came out of the fog and hit them.
