Albany, GAAuthorities in south Georgia say speed was a factor in the death of a trucker involved in a rollover crash.
Ben Hill County Sheriff Bobby McLemore stated that 59-year-old Ricky Music, of Alma, died Monday morning when his truck loaded with logs overturned on Bowen's Mill Highway in Fitzgerald.
Authorities say the man's truck fell into a pond upside down after it overturned on the road.
Fitzgerald is about 65 miles east of Albany.

Indianapolis, INDrowning was the cause of death of a woman who drove her SUV into Fall Creek on Friday morning, according to an autopsy today.
The Marion County coroner’s office ruled that Miranda Dermanelian, 25, Indianapolis, died of asphyxia due to drowning, according to a news release today from the Division of Law Enforcement of the Indiana Department of Natural Resources.
Dermanelian’s vehicle was headed south on Allisonville Road near Binford Boulevard when it ran a red light and then left the roadway at about 8:06 a.m., according to Capt. Rita Reith of the Indianapolis Fire Department.

Tampa-St. Petersburg, FLThe husband of a St. Petersburg woman who was killed Monday morning after driving into a retention pond near her home, says his wife called him shortly before she died and told him she was cut off by another driver.
James Wolfe was very upset about what happened to his wife, Jennifer Lee Wolfe, 35, when he spoke to the media
He said that his wife had called him on her way back from Walmart to say she had driven into a retention pond near their home after being cut off by driver on 28th Street North. Wolfe says, when heard from his wife she was frantic.
Rob Ramirez uninjured, after his single engine aircraft crashes into a retention pond near Aventura.

Thursday, March 6, 2014Officials say a small plane lost power and crashed into a large retention pond in a South Florida residential area.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue reports that the pilot, Rob Ramirez, was the only person on board when the Piper PA-25 Pawnee aircraft went down near Aventura shortly after noon Friday.
A resident who saw the crash stated that Ramirez was able to get out of the plane before calmly wading to shore. He was not injured.
The plane had taken off from North Perry Airport in Pemboke Pines

Monday, March 3, 2014A police chase ended with the suspect’s car and the squad car in Arcade Creek in Sacramento.
Sacramento police officers attempted to pull over the car near Marconi Avenue and Connie Drive in Sacramento. That’s when the suspect took off and then crashed into the creek.
Both cars have since been removed from the creek bed.
No one was seriously injured.

Tampa-St. Petersburg, FLTarpon Springs Police have identified two people killed in a crash Saturday on U.S. 19.
Dive teams members with the Tarpon Springs PD found one vehicle in this retention pond.
Nicholas Ray Osborn, 37, and Marco S. Valez, 39, of Clearwater died when the 1998 Mercedes SLK 230 they were in lost control in a northbound lane and crashed into a pond just before 3 a.m.
The crash happened at the intersection of U.S. 19 and Martin Luther King Jr. Investigators think the Mercedes may have been racing a white car that witnesses saw leaving the area.

Wednesday, February 26, 2014A mother behind the wheel of a minivan that was driven with her three children into the surf off Daytona Beach, Fla., is undergoing a mental evaluation.
The Volusia County Sheriff's Office also said Wednesday that the children were turned over to the care of the Florida Department of Children and Families.
Bystanders and officers helped pull the woman, later identified as Ebony Wilkerson, and her children - ages 3, 9 and 10 - from their minivan after it became nearly submerged in the Atlantic surf Tuesday afternoon.

Louisville, KYA trooper discovered that a 2001 four-door Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck was traveling east near 568 East Crothersville Road when it suddenly crossed into the eastbound lane, hitting a tree on the north side of the road. It then flipped into the ditch. A passerby discovered the crash when he got out of his vehicle to move the tree that had been struck by the pickup truck. Sgt. Jerry Goodin with ISP said the passerby heard children yelling for help, so he walked to the edge of the roadway and saw the overturned truck.

Chattanooga, TNWhen their mother's SUV slipped into a pond Monday night, police say, a baby and a 3-year-old girl sat in the back row, strapped into car seats.
Monique H. Einwechter, 24, of Lititz, Pa., had been driving a Ford Expedition down a long driveway around 8:45 p.m. CST when she reached the pond, located on her father's property. She had four children in the car, none of them older than 3-year-old Susan.

Milwaukee, WIA missing snowmobiler was found dead after he apparently crashed on an ice-covered lake in Walworth County over the weekend.
Searchers were called to Lake Delavan around 8 a.m. Sunday to look for the 51-year-old man who had been missing about 12 hours.
Investigators said the man's family found his snowmobile out on the frozen lake Sunday morning and called police.
