Buffalo, NYAn 18-year-old man has been charged with leaving the scene of a crash that killed a 47-year-old man this morning on Borden Road in Cheektowaga. A car driven by the 18-year-old man struck the 47-year-old man from Cheektowaga at 7 a.m. as the victim was walking northbound along Borden Road in the fog line area. Police charged the suspect with leaving the scene of an accident with personal injury. The 18-year-old drove away from the crash, but he was pulled over about a mile away after an off-duty officer who was driving home witnessed the accident.

Cleveland-Akron, OHA 22-year-old woman and a 4-month-old baby were seriously injured after being struck on the sidewalk at East 118th Street and Buckeye Road early Thursday afternoon by a hit-and-run 16 year old driver who is now in custody. The vehicle jumped the curb and pinned the victims against a wall.

Denver, CODenver Police have identified a 19-year-old man suspected in a fatal hit-and-run late Saturday at Federal Boulevard and Dartmouth Ave.
Eliu Jiminez was arrested after a police helicopter followed the hit-and-run vehicle to Iliff Ave. and Irving Street.
The victim, later identified as Reid Bryant Huffman, 19, was crossing Federal at about 11:10 p.m. when a car travelling southbound struck him, throwing him into the north-bound lane. Another vehicle hit him there, and left the scene, a Denver Police spokesman said on Sunday.
Police arrested Jimenez several blocks away.

Washington, DCAuthorities said a 15-year old boy led state police on a nine-mile pursuit Sunday morning, ramming into two police cars before losing control of his vehicle and overturning on a busy stretch of Interstate 95 in Spotsylvania County.
The incident closed several northbound lanes of 1-95 in Spotsylvania County, just past exit 126, police said.

Saturday, February 1, 2014A 19-year-old has been charged with felony hit and run following the death of a High Point firefighter who was riding a bike.
Fire Equipment Operator Todd Martinez was hit by a vehicle in Summerfield, investigators said. He died from his injuries at Moses Cone Hospital.
Andrew Bray Barham, 19, was charged with one count of felony hit and run, said the Guilford County District Attorney's Office. He's out on bail and is scheduled to appear in court March 6.
The state Highway Patrol is investigating the collision and plans to release more details to the media at 2 p.m. Monday.

Dallas-Ft. Worth, TXLancaster Police have arrested a suspect believed to be the driver in a deadly hit and run accident in Lancaster last weekend.
The incident occurred on Saturday Feb. 1 along the 2900 block of Danieldale Road just after 7 a.m. It’s there that police found 21-year-old Arin Thomas lying on the side of the road.
Based on debris left at the scene, police provided a tentative description of the vehicle on Tuesday.

Las Vegas, NVA 15-year-old boy driving a moped was killed in a hit-and-run crash in the northeast valley Thursday night.
Alex Martinez and a 20-year-old male passenger were traveling west on Meikle Lane about 8:20 p.m. when the accident occurred. They were crossing Ringe Lane, near Nellis and Lake Mead boulevards where they were struck by an unknown vehicle, according to Las Vegas police.
Both Martinez and the passenger on the moped were thrown onto the road. The operator of the vehicle that hit them did not stop or call the police.

Portland, ORA Forest Grove teen pleaded guilty Thursday in connection with the crash that killed two young stepsisters playing in a pile of leaves in October.
Mario Echeverria, 18, was sentenced to 13 months in prison for hindering prosecution after the crash, according to the Washington County District Attorney's office.
Police said he and 18-year-old Cinthya Garcia Cisneros were driving home Oct. 20 when they hit and killed 11-year-old Abigail Robinson and 6-year-old Anna Dieter-Eckert, who were playing in the leaves near their home.

Phoenix, AZPhoenix police are looking for an ATV rider who fled the scene of a fatal dirt bike accident in Phoenix on Tuesday.
The vehicles collided in the desert near the 25,000 block of North 57th Street around 5 p.m.
The rider of the dirt bike, Frisco Davidson-Spurs Yankolovich, 20, was rushed to a local hospital, where he died of his injuries, said a Phoenix Police Sgt.
The rider of the quad stopped and looked at the victim, then left the scene, police said.
Police said there are no signs of the ATV rider.

Thursday, November 28, 2013A 16-year-old is in trouble with the law after Upper Allen Township police in Cumberland County say the teen fled the scene of a crash and was driving under the influence.
Police responded to a hit-and-run crash around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday along the 1700 block of North Meadow Drive.
"The striking vehicle fled the scene and was located by police several blocks away. The 16 year old juvenile driver admitted to having been driving at a high rate of speed, causing the vehicle to strike a curb which caused property damage and disabling damage to the vehicle," a police news release states.
