Ft. Wayne, INPolice said two 12-year-old girls were injured in an off-road vehicle crash in Wells County Friday night. One of the girls was taken to a Fort Wayne hospital in serious condition after she was pinned underneath the ORV.
According to Indiana Department of Natural Resources officers, Trinity Wine, 12, of Keystone, was driving a Polaris Ranger with passenger Tess Gilbert, 12, of Warren, on private property in the area of 1500 E. 900 S. in Keystone shortly before 7 p.m. Friday.

Sunday, March 9, 2014A 7-year-old boy was flown to a trauma center Monday afternoon after being injured in an all-terrain vehicle rollover in Loxahatchee, said a spokesman for Palm Beach County Fire Rescue. The child was flown by Trauma Hawk to St. Mary’s Medical Center, Borroto said. The accident happened a few minutes before 6 p.m. on the 17,700 block of 61st Place North.

Tampa-St. Petersburg, FLAn Inverness teen who was driving an ATV without headlights or a helmet died in a crash in Citrus County on Monday evening.
Florida Highway Patrol investigators say at about 8:39 p.m., 17-year-old Alexander Terraciano was driving the ATV on County Road 581.
A 2003 Honda Civic driven by Barbara Jean Cross, 38, of Hernando, was driving behind Terraciano and hit the back of the ATV.
Terraciano died at the scene of the crash.
No charges were filed in connection with the crash.

Pittsburgh, PAA 21-year-old West Virginia man was killed in an all-terrain vehicle crash in Greene County on Friday night, police said.
The man was traveling north on Blockhouse Run Road in Gilmore Township when he struck a dog and lost control, flipping the ATV, police said.
The man was thrown onto the road.
The identity of the man has not been released.

Baltimore, MDAll Amtrak and MARC rail service between Baltimore and Wilmington was suspended for several hours Tuesday evening after a man was killed on train tracks in Rosedale, rail and police officials said.
Baltimore County Police believe the man failed to hear the train coming toward him at a high rate of speed after a stolen ATV in his possession "broke down on him next to the tracks just prior to the accident."

Houston, TXAuthorities are investigating a crash that sparked a chaotic scene in northeast Houston.
The wreck happened in the 1100 block of Homestead, where thousands of people have lined the street. They're out to welcome the Piney Woods Trail Riders, who set up camp there.
A Houston police officer said the driver involved in the accident was hit by what may have been kids on an ATV.
The driver is OK.
The people on the ATV fled and police want to find them and talk to them. Officers said they may have been injured in that accident.

Charlotte, NCA man died in an ATV accident overnight in Catawba County, according to officials.
The Catawba County Sheriff’s Office received a call for service about 5:30 a.m. Monday at Slanting Bridge Road and Tradewinds Drive.
When they arrived, they found 30-year-old Joseph Hall's body was cold, suggesting he had been dead for hours, said a 911 dispatcher.
The sheriff's office said Hall was driving north on Slanting Bridge Road when he hit a culvert drain pipe and crashed his ATV.
Fire and EMS reported to the scene.

Ft. Myers-Naples, FLTwo children have serious injuries after crashing their all-terrain vehicle in southwest Florida.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, 9-year-old Angela Wright was driving the ATV when it crashed Sunday afternoon in Lehigh Acres.
Troopers say the ATV flipped over as it approached a telephone pole in a grassy area.
According to a crash report, both the girl and her 16-year-old passenger Kyle Pilgrim were thrown off the ATV in the crash. Troopers say the teenager struck the telephone pole after being ejected, and the ATV struck the 9-year-old after she was thrown off.

Charlotte, NCA West Charlotte Man is dead after an ATV crash Saturday afternoon.
Police tell us Marvin Andrew Davis died during a ride with family friends. It happened in a wooded area near Dillard Valley Road.
They say Davis was riding down a grassy hill at a high rate of speed attempting to jump a creek bed when the ATV struck the embankment on the other side of the creek.
Davis was thrown off the ATV.
Police say Davis was wearing a helmet.

Phoenix, AZAuthorities in Gila County say an ATV driver lost his life in a tragic accident overnight.
The Gila County Sheriff's Officer said, based on their initial investigation, a single rider on an ATV was heading south on Forest Road 3099 and was attempting to get back on Forest Road 64 when he lost control of the ATV sometime Wednesday night or early Thursday morning. The victim was found dead under the ATV.
The victim's name has not been released at this time.
