Oklahoma City police are investigating a single-vehicle crash that killed the driver Thursday morning.

Officers say the crash occurred at Interstate 44 and Lake Hefner Parkway.

Police say the northbound ramp of Lake Hefner Parkway from I-44 has been reopened.

The crash in under investigation, but authorities are not releasing any information about the identity of the female driver killed in the crash.

A Stillwater man died Thursday from injuries he suffered in a collision in Payne County, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

Sean M. Kelly, 53, was in a crash about 3 p.m. Wednesday two miles west of Cushing on State Highway 33 at Stiles Road, the patrol reported.

Kelly was flown to St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, where he died Thursday.

Two people died in a Mayes County crash Wednesday, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports. Benjamin M. Morgan, 20, of Peggs, the driver of a car, and passenger Evelyn M. Hays, 43, of Peggs, both died in a head-on collision with a pickup about 6:20 p.m. Wednesday on State Highway 82 about 3.7 miles south of Locust Grove, the patrol reports. Morgan was driving north on SH 82 when a pickup driven south by Cooper S. Day, 47, of Tahlequah, tried to pass another vehicle that was turning right onto a private drive. Day's pickup struck Morgan's car head-on, the patrol reports.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a 20-year-old worker was killed in a forklift accident at a Sapulpa manufacturing plant.

The highway patrol says the accident occurred early Friday at Paragon Industries, which manufactures metal tubing for the oil industry. According to a preliminary report, the forklift was being used to pick up some pipe on private property.

The highway patrol says William Hunter Miller of Jenks jumped on the side of the forklift but slipped and fell off. The highway patrol says Miller died after he was struck by one of the forklift's rear wheels.

Two law enforcement officers and a suspect were killed in separate automobile crashes following a pursuit in southwestern Oklahoma.

A spokesman for the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, said two law enforcement vehicles crashed south of Dill City on State Highway 42 on Thursday morning. The suspect's vehicle crashed in a separate location.

The lawmen worked for the Washita County Sheriff's Office and the Burns Flat Police Department, according to the Sheriff of nearby Custer County, whose agency was covering calls for the departments involved.

A man was killed Wednesday morning in a head-on collision in Caddo County, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

Billy McCarver, 76, of Wapanucka, was driving a car about 10:40 a.m. westbound on State Highway 22 about half a mile west of Cat City Road near Caddo, troopers said.

Cody Elderige, 24, of Caddo, was driving his pickup eastbound on State Highway 22 and went left of center and hit McCarver's car head-on, troopers said.

McCarver was pinned in his car and was pronounced dead at the scene, troopers said. Elderige was taken by medical helicopter to a hospital.

A Colbert man died in a Bryan County crash early Monday when a driver tried to elude police, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports.

Neil Allen Johnston, 31, died about 12:55 a.m. Monday on a county road just south of Colbert.

Johnston was a passenger in a vehicle driven by Kellis Glenn Barnett, 26, of Colbert. Barnett refused treatment at the scene for possible leg and internal trunk injuries, the patrol reports.

A person died Saturday in a fiery accident on Interstate 40. the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

The person, whose name has not been released, was driving a tractor-trailer about 10:40 p.m. Saturday on Interstate 40 about four miles east of Sallisaw.

The truck went off the road and hit a concrete culvert, causing the vehicle to catch fire, troopers said.

The person was pronounced dead at the scene.

A Waurika woman died Monday and an Enid couple were injured after a wreck in Stephens County, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

Alma Lindesmith, 66, died at the scene of the wreck about 6:30 p.m. just south of Comanche on U.S. 81. She was not wearing a seat belt, troopers said.

Lindesmith was driving a sport utility vehicle south on U.S. 81. The vehicle struck a deer and ran off the road. When it returned to the pavement, it slammed into a northbound sport utility vehicle being driven by James Faubion, 59.

Police here on Monday identified an officer and a man involved in a fatal automobile-pedestrian accident on Saturday. Adam Christopher Johnson, 33, of Yukon, was hit about 4:50 a.m. in the 400 block of S Ranchwood Boulevard by a Yukon police car driven by Cpl. Mike Stilley, the Yukon Police Chief said. The area of the accident was a few blocks south of the Yukon Police Department. Corn said investigators believe Johnson was lying in the roadway before the collision. The accident is under investigation, police said.
