A 4-year-old girl, identified as Tailynn Felker has died Monday night following an ATV crash in Summit Township, Pennsylvania. Three other children, including a 1-year-old, a 3-year-old, and a 9-year-old, were taken to Meyersdale Medical Center to treat injuries. The accident occured around 5:00 p.m. on October 27 when a 14-year-old girl was driving the ATV with the four young passengers when she lost control and rolled the vehicle near a railroad crossing on Scratch Hill Road. None of the children were wearing helmets.

A 13-year-old Trent Myers, of Rising Sun, Indiana, died Sunday at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center from injuries sustained in an ATV crash at Lake Geneva over the weekend. The other kids riding the machine during the crash sustained only minor injuries.

A teenage girl was killed Monday in an ATV accident in southern Indiana. Sixteen-year-old Bailey Carty of Paoli was pronounced dead after she was found underneath an overturned ATV which she had been riding in the 2700 block of E. CR 100 North around 5 p.m.  Medics performed CPR at the scene, but were unable to resuscitate the girl.

The OHP report states a 2002 Honda TRX 500 driven by James Votaw, 18, of Inola was eastbound when he lost control on a curve, went off the road throwing both him and his passenger, a 16-year-old girl off the ATV. The OHP report said Votaw was driving at an unsafe speed at the time of the crash.  Troopers said neither Votaw or the teen were wearing helmets at the time of the crash.

Cothren was transported to North Cypress Medical Center, but he died of his injuries. His 14-year-old passenger was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital and is expected to recover. A candlelight vigil will be held for Cothren at 8 p.m. Saturday at Tomball United Methodist Church.

A Franklinton woman riding an ATV died Wednesday after she disregarded a traffic signal and was struck by a car, State Police said. The crash occurred at the intersection of Louisiana highways 450 and 16, State Police said. Cynamon A. Warden, 21, died of injuries at Interim LSU Hospital in New Orleans. State Police said the collision happened around 12:55 p.m. Wednesday after Warden, who was driving the Kawasaki four-wheeler on Louisiana 450, disregarded a flashing stop sign and red signal light as she crossed Louisiana 16.

An Inverness teen who was driving an ATV without headlights or a helmet died in a crash in Citrus County on Monday evening. Florida Highway Patrol investigators say at about 8:39 p.m., 17-year-old Alexander Terraciano was driving the ATV on County Road 581. A 2003 Honda Civic driven by Barbara Jean Cross, 38, of Hernando, was driving behind Terraciano and hit the back of the ATV. Terraciano died at the scene of the crash. No charges were filed in connection with the crash.

Authorities say a northern New Jersey man was killed when the all-terrain vehicle he was driving struck a parked car. Plainfield police stated that 21-year-old Piscataway resident Andrew Taylor was killed in the crash, which occurred around 8:15 p.m. Monday in the area of Central Avenue and Ninth Street. Authorities say Taylor was operating the vehicle illegally and was not wearing a helmet. He was taken to a hospital, where he died a short time later. No other injuries were reported in the accident, which remains under investigation.

The Chelan County sheriff says a 17-year-old Leavenworth teen died in a weekend accident while riding an all-terrain vehicle (ATV). Mark D. Clark was riding the ATV on Sunitsch Canyon Road in Leavenworth when he lost control and was thrown against a tree, with the ATV rolling into him, causing fatal neck and head injuries. The young man was not wearing a helmet.
